1020. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}8/JH. 16th. January, 1940. Messrs. Vandervell Ltd., Western Avenue, Park Royal, LONDON.W.3. For the attention of Mr. Johnson. Dear Sirs, With reference to camshaft bearings, rocker bushes, and little end bushes which you have been supply at varying intervals. We are anxious to replenish our stock for experimental development, but we are a little confused by the different piece numbers mentioned in the correspondence; between yourselves and our Mr. Swindall who is now in Glasgow. Before actually ordering any further supplies therefore, we would be obliged if you could let us have a set of prints which represent the latest thing, as a result of the personal contact you had with Mr. Swindall. Our last letter to you re Rocker bushes (ref. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}5/MH.{M. Huckerby} dated 18th. July 1939) mentions a number EB.4309. We would like a print from you embodying the details contained in this letter, if you agree that this matches up with your version of this section. Regarding little end bushes, the most likely number we have is EB.5211. If you agree that this is also up to date, will you please send us a detail print to your own part number. Regarding camshaft bearings our numbers for this section are as follows EB.3891-2, EB.4146 and EB.4925-6. Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} | ||
