Big ends starting to show cracks at 12,196. No trouble with main bearings reported. 1.B.IV July 1933. Running stopped after 7000 miles by balance weight leaving crankshaft. W/MT Main bearings cracking up, pitted and scored. W/MT Big ends breaking up. 1.B.IV Oct. 1933. No bearing trouble reported in 10,500 miles. 1.B.IV Nov.1933. Big ends beginning to crack up at 10,000.
