RE : 34-GN - MR. FAIREY'S CAR.

This car is being brought up to Derby TODAY tomorrow by Mr. Fairey's chauffeur to have the following points attended to :-

(1) High compression head.
Mr. Fairey wishes for a large increase in compression ratio and does not mind if it is necessary to run on special fuel.

(2) Shock absorbers etc.
Complaint that car SHIMMIES shakes badly at high speeds.

(3) Joggles on steering.
The car will not carry the full tyre pressure at high speeds. Joggles excessive.

(4) Brakes.
In his opinion these are very unsatisfactory and require adjustment practically after each run.

(5) Movement of Dash.
Complaints of noise and excessive movement of dash at high speeds.

Mr. Fairey requires this car definitely for Whitsun.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GH.

(6) NEW PACKING PIECES REQUIRED UNDER TRUNK AT REAR.
