Replying to G/WFH10/HO30.11.27. The Lorraine Dietrich car was return to Paris in the beginning of May in order to be sold. The reason it was sent back was becuase it had a left-hand steering and they should obtain a better value for it in France than we could in England.
As regards the bodies. As far as we are concerned these can only be looked upon as scrap. We believe the body referred to - 2-G2 - is the one which is at present fitted to the 20 HP. car which Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} is using; it is a Maythorn saloon. 5-G2 we believe is an oil scrap Mulliner all-weather body which I believe is being used by the Test Dept.
9-EX body is scrap as far as we are concerned and is never likely to be used.
