Fan Breakages on Bentley.

Referring to your Sr.10/MLG.30.10.36.

Could you please forward the remains of the fan in question so that we can have some data on which to work. At the moment we are at a loss to account for the failures in question, particularly as no other cases have been reported since accurate fan balancing was instructed. We propose to forward to you a Bentley fan which has been accurately checked for balance at the Works on our dynamic balancing machine, and would like you to fit this fan to Mr. Daubree's car, B-196-DB{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}, in order to ensure that we has no further trouble. We are convinced that lack of balance of the fan must still be at the root of the trouble, but there is a possibility that the last fan to break was built before the change of flange material in January last.
