Coverley - Production Engineer} EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/HP.7.2.36. Bentley - Jacking System. We wish to try a jacking system which is easier to operate than the present system on Bentley and also enables the Jack to be got into position when a tyre has come off the rim. LeC.4973 shews a pad on the rear spring in the present position, but of a modified shape to facilitate getting the Jack under, and M.Sch.4982 a similar pad on the front place of one of the clips on the front spring. The latter drawing also shows the special head which can be applied to the existing Bentley jack. We should like a set of these pads and jack fitted to a car for trial as soon as possible. Instructed for 13.5.36. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
