Coverley - Production Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}E/KT.22.9.33. INDUCTION SYSTEM FOR THE 12 CYLINDER ENGINE. We want to be in a position to prove the induction system which will be on the 12 cyl. car before they get too involved in the design of the engine. LeC.3637 shews how we can rig up almost exactly the induction system which it is proposed to use. We utilise the existing 20/25 HP. engine which has the correct spacing of induction ports. We shall require a special exhaust pipe as shewn. Will you please make the necessary pieces. The job is rather urgent in order that E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} may complete his designs.
