Messrs.Rolls-Royce Ltd., Nightingale Road, DERBY. Dear Sirs, Ref.-Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}/Ms17/FJ5.8.21. With reference to your letter of the 5th inst. we have now pleasure in sending you under separate cover 6 Clutch Rings to your Blue Print G.50213 and in quoting you as follows:- "HALO" JOINTLESS WOUND NON-METALLIC ASBESTOS CLUTCH RINGS. (Patent applied for). B.P. G.50213. 10.5" o.d. 8.4" i.d. x .187 to .197" thick. In quantities of not less than 1000 Rings. @ 5/6d per Ring, nett. Terms:- Nett, Cash end of month following despatch. Delivered. We trust that your tests will prove satisfactory and that we may be favoured with your orders. One of the Coventry Motor Car Manufacturers put our "Halo" Rings into test in June last. One size viz:-6.7 o.d. x 5 i.d. x .125" is run 15 to a set, dry and floating. Of this size 2000 were ordered on the 22nd July, and a further 2000 on Saturday last.
