Contract and works order detailing the specifications for 75 Phantom II Left Hand Drive 'N' series chassis for Rolls-Royce of America.

Supply 75 Phantom II Left Hand Drive 'N' series chassis -

Untarnishable exterior fittings,

'E' type steering (L.H.),

20 Gall. Petrol Tank with hinged filler cap,

Wheels (Dunlop) well-base to suit 20" x 7" tyres (Rim section to drawing DDS.4336 (Dunlop) for 4" width of rim. (Later chassis to be furnished suitable for 19" x 7" tyres (same section) when development approved of).
Two spare wheels on first 50 chassis.

Spare wheel carriers on each side for first 50 chassis - rear carrier not required.

Radiator shutters to be automatically controlled,

Instruments to be standard English form,

Fuel Gauge to be graduated in U.S. Gallons. Scale should indicate an empty tank when main supply exhausted, i.e. before reserve called into use.

Battery box suitable for two Exide 3.XCR-13-1-RA batteries, ends of cables to be left without terminals.

Enots lubricators on torque tube,

Propeller shaft and fan to be omitted and replaced by suitable plug for exclusion of dirt,

Headlamp brackets to be fitted complete, suitable for American type of headlamps,

Bumpers; provision to be made for fitting bumpers,

Carburetter to be exhaust heated,

Horn Bracket to be fitted on dash suitable for U.S. Horn (Horn not required).

Lubrication to be modified to provide :-
1. Extra lubrication at starting,
2. Lubrication of clutch coupling,
3. Axles to be connected to central oiling scheme provided this modification passed for production.
