P.III.

Clutches.
Overload test carried out on proposed Thermoid faced Long type clutch. Similar plate fitted to 37-EX for further information. Clutch servo transferred to 32-EX for run in France after various experiments on 33-EX.
Experiments with brake servo 'anticlonk' devices to eliminate dashpot.

Petrol Pumps.
Design Department has been asked to provide a scheme for fitting the 3rd pump on bonnet rest plate as this has been found to be the best position.

Flexible Flywheel.
Tests continued to find best friction setting.

Suspension.
Tests on Gordon Armstrong Dampers. Report being issued.

15,000 Miles' car - 32-EX.
Gearbox dismantled to increase overdrive pinion clearance found necessary after road testing.
Carburation tests in conjunction with high lift petrol pump. Brooklands tests on overdrive gearbox.

WRAITH.

Tests to reduce noise from Propeller shaft. Tests on effect on sideways shake of radiator mounting, rear spring anchorage, clutch, brakes, etc.

26.G.VI. First Wraith III.
First road test carried out 1.7.37. Report issued.
