To: Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/AES. from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG.1/RH.{R. Hollingworth}19.5.41. 1204 Referring to the attached letter from Perfecta Motor Equipments Ltd., with reference to windscreen template, it will be some considerable time before this template can be sent, as this depends upon Park Wards making the body shell before the template can be sent to Perfecta. Our reason for placing the order with Perfecta at such an early date was to enable them to get the brass sections for making up the screen. As the body is not made, it would be unsafe to have the windscreen made to our drawings, as there is almost sure to be slight variations from the drawing on the hand-made body. Regarding the regulator for the windscreen, this has not yet come to hand. We will, however, advise you if it is O.K. after we have had an opportunity of checking it over.
