contd :- -2- be able to get this on a car quickly. It is thought desirable that a new chassis should be built up with the central oiling scheme. We therefore recommend that on this new chassis we should have the following new parts and that it should start on a 10,000 miles test for the usual standardisation. (1) Turbulent head in aluminium. 4.24 comp: ratio. (2) Pedestal pistons - single bolt type. (3) Perfect circle scraper rings. (4) Improved rockers to avoid side thrust. (5) Modified exhaust system which also does away with the choke valve in the exhaust pipe. (6) Central oiling scheme. (7) New serrated coupling for clutch. (8) Torque control for front axle. (9) Front springs made in Silicon Manganese, and modified clip. (10) Narrower and lighter radiator with integral shutters. (11) Spare wheel carrier at the rear. (12) Modified steering. (13) Sleeveless magneto. (14) Tungsten points on battery ignition. (15) Framed instruments. The designs for all these parts are completed. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
