c. to Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} c. to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} -------- 86051 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.2/WA.{Mr Wallis} 25th September, 1933. The A.T.Speedometer Co.Ltd., Chronos Works, North Circular Road, London, N.W.2. For the attention of Mr.H.R.Buckland. Dear Sir, Many thanks for your letter of the 23rd. instant reference HRB/B with the enclosed sample rev clock dial showing the suggested markings for maximum R.P.M. We have decided that we should like the dial completed as follows:- (a) The red line to extent across the scale as shown, similar to the line opposite to the 3,500 marking on the dial submitted. (b) The line thickness is to be the same as the three shown at 500, 1500, 4500 R.P.M. on the dial submitted. (c) We want the dial scale filled in with red between 4500 and 5000. (d) The "Maximum R.P.M." figures must be of the same size as the R.P.M. above the letter B on the scale, and we want this "Maximum R.P.M." lettering to be in the yellow orange shade as shown. | ||
