'SS{S. Smith}' DASHBOARD, ETC. [s]X7500[/s] X7510

Herewith we send N. scheme 2755. shewing how we suggest the dashboard should be arranged to obtain the maximum height of the autovac tank.

It will be remembered that E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}, on LeC. 2508. asked for approximately 20" above the top of the frame for the autovac tank. On F.79601. only approximately 16.9" is provided, and it seems important that we should try to get more. On N. scheme 2755. we obtain 19.9", and as far as we can see there are no resulting inconveniences.

We suggest that the accessory box should be moved slightly inwards, followed by the lubricating pump, and the autovac tank shut up as closely as possible to the pump.

There appears to be room for the foot alongside the autovac, and we do not get as far as the cork faced tap.

We propose to leave the control of the shutters and starting carburetter to Derby, as there seems no doubt it can be got in, either just like F.79601. or by slight modifications.
