DERBY.

Attention Mr. F.{Mr Friese} Ll Smith.

Dear Sirs,

Referring to our telephone conver-sation of this morning, we are pleased to advise that the two 10" Driven Plates faced with Ferodo No.6. Material, and in which the inner row of rivets clinch both facings, are being despatched to you this morning, and we trust will arrive in time to meet your requirements.

As requested, we are also putting in hand six similar Drive Plates which we will despatch with the minimum of delay.

In connection with the question of spring pressure, we understand that you are re-quiring for experimental purposes, six sets of White (175.lbs) and six sets of Black (165.lbs) Thrust Springs, and these we are arranging to despatch to you on Monday next, it being understood that you will probably return either the black or white springs, in due course, after you have decided which spring pressure is considered the more suitable for your application.

We are also endeavouring to make arrangements for the 10" size English "Hyco" Facing to be available, and in this regard the writer will be communicating with you in due course.

Yours faithfully,
BORG & BECK COMPANY LIMITED.
