Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

We are in receipt of your letter of the 20th inst. with regard to Spauldite interleaving material.

You will have gathered from our wire sent this morning that we are still without the long sheets from which we can cut this material, and we are wondering whether you could utilize the shorter lengths. This could possibly be done by using two pieces to make up the necessary length and dovetailing the ends.

We are sorry that we cannot make any promise concerning the full lengths at the moment, as we cannot state definitely when supplies will be coming through from the mills. There is some difficulty in making the long sheets which has not yet been entirely overcome.

Yours faithfully,
pp. SPAULDINGS LTD
