ROVER CO. Dated 29th Oct.

Timing gears.

The complaint of noisy timing chains usually occurs early in the life of the car and in instances where it is necessary to change the chain it is due to the chain being too slack. This in turn is occasionally due to the timing wheel being too small.

The total number of cases actually dealt with during the guarantee period of life was only seven. This does not include noisy chains on 14 H.P. Models due to incorrect adjustment.
