"Goshawk 11" - Dunlop Wire Wheels.

With reference to By5/P13.9.22 and By/C9/P15.9.22, I have had a message from Col.Matthew suggesting that he should visit us tomorrow (Tuesday) to discuss our complaint of broken spokes in E.2 type wire wheels, 32" x 4 1/2". As it is unlikely that By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} will be back from holidays tomorrow and as we have a Staff Conference on Thursday next, for which some preparation will have to be made, I have considered it advisable to request Col.Matthew to postpone his visit until Friday next, 22nd inst.

He will arrive here between 10 and 10.15 a.m.

He will come prepared to discuss with Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} the complaint of broken spokes in a wire wheel returned by Lord Derby, and will also come prepared to discuss with Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} certain improvements in the loose flange of wire wheels for straight-side tyres.

I hope the day and time mentioned will be convenient to all concerned.

Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}
