Some schemes have advantages in one direction, other schemes have advantages in other directions.

In EAC.7, we shall have considerable change by fitting our unique system of damped pendulum lever, and we expect to XXXX make a step forward. This scheme may permit us to have a nearly irreversible steering box, and so possibly we may have all the advantages at present known, without any of the disadvantages.

In conclusion, we have a designer - Mr. Hardy - who makes a speciality of this part (naturally with other work) He always has this matter before him and is very capable to watch what is being done and what can be done, and the matter is always having its share of attention.

I am also endeavouring to get as much weight as possible off front wheels, but I do not think this will amount to much.

It should always be borne in mind that wheel balance and tyre pressure, shock dampers and road springs, have a marked influence on steering, the low pressure relieving the steering of XXX many of it's shocks at high speeds, but at slow speeds making it heavy in shunting and tramping. Low pressure in ordinary tyres is very desirable, and the best compromise.

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} should test the Sunbeam: they have much experience at high speed racing, and probably have the same proportions as Continental practice, the Delage being a fair sample.
