Barkers, and Mr. Nutt together with the rest of the Management are extremely interested in it and hope that it has a future. (2) The car is for Mr. Royce's personal use here, and especially in the South of France, and we have promised to give him a perfect job in its entirety. We have no facility at Derby for making wings and valances, or fitting them, and no paint-shop. As previously stated the chassis that we send will be a New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I of standard design in all its outward appearance, such new features that will eventually be added will be removed and replaced by standard ones until the car returns to Derby. We ask that permission for this procedure be granted, and the writer will make it his responsibility to see that nothing of a secret nature shall be made known to the Coachbuilders.
