To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}5/KW.23.4.36. 32-EX. we have had a telephone message from Firth's in which they tell us that the springs F.88751 for the rubber rear shackles will not be delivered for at least another three weeks. In view of this the car will have to leave for France without these springs. Will you see, however, whether you can fit the frame anchor brackets suitable for these springs in conjunction with the standard springs now fitted to the car. We can then send out to G.W.H. the new springs and necessary alterations to the Bijur piping, for these parts to be fitted in France. For both types of springs we shall of course require the rubber pad between the axle and spring. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
