WRAITH 'C' SERIES.

With reference to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}8/E.20.3.39. the position of the above has changed since the previous notes were circulated because 'C' Series Production has been anticipated in order to meet Sales Requirements, rendering it necessary to exert pressure on outside suppliers with the result that most of this Material is now available.

The position regarding parts processed in the Factory such as Camshafts is not so far advanced, but the fact that Outside Suppliers are delivering Material in accordance with revised Schedule means that the Company will be committed to considerable expenditure should the changes of Specification be proceeded with.

The total value of Material which is liable to be rendered scrap if the proposed alterations are introduced on 'C' series is approximately as follows :-

£3,000. 0. 0d. if introduced at 1st. Chassis in 'C' Series.

£2,000. 0. 0d. if introduced at 101st. Chassis in 'C' Series.

£1,000. 0. 0d. if introduced at 201st. Chassis in 'C' Series.

Quite apart from Scrap Material value, the cost of new Tools must be taken into account, also the length of time necessary to design and manufacture such Tools, which would interfere with the agreed Production Schedule.
