3/10/08 Special radiator, round tubes, no gills. Window closed.

Floorboards Radiator Atmosphere
Running 15 mls. 120°F.{Mr Friese} 89°C. 64°F.{Mr Friese}
Standing 10 mins engine running} 130°F.{Mr Friese} 98°C.
on hill through Ashbourne for Buxton} 118°F.{Mr Friese} 100°C.
Water boils on long hills & steams a lot.

5/10/08
16 mls run 90°C. 55°
Ashbourne Hill 96°C.
After 60 mls run. At Derby 103°F.{Mr Friese} 84°C.

Water inclined to boil but not so bad as on 3/10/08. I did not steam on Ashbourne Hill. foot board hottest when stood still - reduces when running.
