Clarifying a misunderstanding with Messrs. Phillips regarding a pair of headlamp bulbs.

| X4477 To Roy{Sir Henry Royce}//GEA, from EFC. EFC6/T1.5.29. Referring to the attached, we do not understand the statement of Messrs. Phillips that they have not received replies to their enquiries. If you will refer to EFC/L/T 10.11.28 addressed to Roy.{Sir Henry Royce}, it will be seen that we handed these bulbs back to Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} for return to Messrs. Phillips, pointing out that they were the ordinary single filament headlamp bulbs and not the double filament bifocal type concerning which we sent them the enquiry. It would appear from their present letter that this pair of bulbs has not actually been returned to them. I think the situation should be ascertained and that they should be written to and apologised to if it is the case that no answer has been sent to them. EFC. | ||
