The Specification for the Marles Gear for
Rolls-Royce Limited (N.Sch.4291) is as follows :-

(1) The Adamant type of taper bearing, the bedding to extend over the whole face of the cam and roller.

(2) The .8" lead.

(3) The crowning to be .005".

(4) The bearings in the rocker shaft to be supplied by the Adamant Engineering Co.

The total number of parts we supply are :-

(1) The cam.

(2) Top and bottom bearings complete.

(3) 4 cage and roller assemblies for the rocker shaft assembly, and a roller follower suitable for the aforesaid cam.
