THE AUTOCAR—Continuation 2. W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham, Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., Derby. (c) the modifications to the carburettor pistons? Incidentally, a reply by return would be very much appreciated. I am also enclosing two photographs I took of yourself and of the party at the French frontier. I am returning your own film under separate cover, and you will see from this week's issue that we have been able to use the picture you took outside Karlsruhe. As I look back on our wonderful trip it is difficult to believe that it has all happened, and I shall always be extremely grateful to your concern for the opportunity of trying two such fine cars and of accompanying such discriminate travellers. Yours sincerely, John Dugdale. P.S. I hope I may avail myself one day of your kind invitation to come in and see you at the works, and I must show you a wonderful photograph I have of Morgan. Did you see Robert Walling's story in the Evening Standard of Sat. Feb 4. 1939 - "100 m.p.h. average on German Roads". | ||
