Alteration of 28 slot armatures for 40/50 NB machines.

| To EY/RD. from EFC. X8672 EFC4/T26.1.28. 28 SLOT ARMATURES FOR 40/50 NB. MACHINES. You will remember we have had three 28 slot armatures with varying B angles. One of these (the middle one) has been selected as being O.K. It is now our wish to have the other two armatures altered to make them the same as the one which we have selected as being suitable for a 28 slot armature in the N.B. machine. This means the equivalent of moving the two commutators round through half a segment, one in one direction and the other in the other. Mr. Pignatt will see you in this connection. We believe you have completed a drawing for the armature which is O.K. Will you please give the necessary instructions and intimate that one of the two armatures is rather urgently required. EFC. | ||
