I have interviewed Mr. Walker re the introduction of Nickel on the cylinder castings, and upon looking up his files, the 1% to 1.3% nickel was introduced on the 12/7/28. The introduction of the 20/25 H.P., on which Cricklewood states excessive wear of cylinder bores has taken place, was August 1929. We have not any figures relating to the 20 H.P. which was introduced in September 1922. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} | ||
