Hy{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} c.c. KP c.c. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} X6016 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/mst.2/AMS.10.32. 20/25 THREE CHARGE SCHEME Referring to your PNL/HT18.10.32 regarding the above, we are preparing the four sets as suggested and will inform you immediately these are available so that you can arrange for the cars to be sent to Cricklewood for fitting. We hope to have one of the four sets ready very quickly and the other three will follow at a later date. Regarding the last paragraph of your note, we cannot emphasise too strongly the fact that on no-account must the head lamp fuse be removed in order that full charge may be obtained from the battery by charging with the head lamp switch in position. If this is done, the dynamo will speedily rise to a dangerous temperature and throw the commutator solder. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/mst. | ||
