Dear Mr. Hopps, Thank you for your letter of the 21st April. Generally speaking, it is not necessary to run our cars in. Nevertheless, I would not recommend that you indulge in prolonged bursts of speed above 4000 revs. until the car has done about 500 miles. It might be an advantage to use upper cylinder lubricant for the first few thousand miles. Castrol seems fairly satisfactory. I hope you will be satisfied with the chassis. Yours sincerely, | ||
