Ltd., 906, Harrow Road, Willesden, LONDON, N.W.10. 8th. March 1938. Dear Sirs, We are sending back to you one of the Bentley high lift portable jacks as it is leaking copiously. In addition to putting this right we should be glad if you could arrange for the handle at the bottom of its stroke to be horizontal instead of inclined upwards. We think that with such a long jack it would be easier to operate in the horizontal position. As regards price, the 25/- you quoted in your letter of some time ago is more than we are paying for the present Bentley jack, and the hydraulic one will meet with some opposition on this account. We were wondering, therefore, whether you could reconsider this price and lower it somewhat. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
