Cable you recently submitted to Messrs. Joseph Lucas. To enable us to look into the matter, we should very much appreciate it if you would let us know whether the sample was taken from a consignment received by you on or since Friday, May 7th, 1937. If the sample was taken as mentioned, it would behave substantially in respect of the Lucas Ozone Test as stated in your letter; on the other hand, if the sample was not from a consignment delivered as stated above, we should be glad to receive a sample from the same coil of cable so that we may examine it.
