PHANTOM 11. CHASSIS - D.W.S. JACKS.

We are instructed by the Administration to arrange for the fitting of D.W.S. Permanent Jacks on all Phantom 11. chassis as soon as possible.

The Experimental Department have carried out development work in connection with these, and the last set of these Jacks, as submitted by the Makers, is considered satisfactory, except that some modifications to the brackets securing the jacks to the rear axle are proposed, and attach print of RR.Sch.283 showing the jack in position on the rear axle, also particulars of the modified bracket required.

Will you please send this blueprint on to the Makers, requesting them to carry out the modifications, together with instructions to put in hand a suitable number of Jacks and fittings to cover our requirements for all Phantom 11. chassis, which we may have to build in 0.2 series.

We would like to know how soon they can let us have supplies.
