It might also be advantageous to get hold of a good sized Metallurgique, as this appears to have the steering pivots on the axle arranged nearly the same as we are thinking of arranging ours.

We ought to be able to get hold of such a car without having to purchase a new one as we only require it for a few days.

In fact either Messrs, Platford, Hives or Haldenby, with Mr Day, could investigate it in the course of a few hours, if they could get such a car away on a quiet road.

I believe also that with reference to the Delaunay there would be practically no difference between this and ours, if carefully compared with the same vertical setting of the steering pivots.

At the same time, I advise a slight further reduction in the speed of the steering, which will make the control of the road wheels easier.

I am pleased with Mr Haldenby's test, X457.
