FOUR 'RAPSON' SUPER COMFORT SS.{S. Smith} CORD TYRES.

33 X 5 (actual 33 1/2 X 6) returned to the makers on 17.7.24 per MM. Hernu, Peron, Paris.

| R.{Sir Henry Royce} R.{Sir Henry Royce} and makers No. | Where fitted. | REMARKS. |
|---|---|---|
| R.1. 85444 | N.S.R. | Punctured at 1424 miles and removed being worn to the last layer of cord. Total loss of air pressure throughout run - 3 lbs. |
| R.2. 85428 | O.S.R. | Burst when worn down to the last layer of cord, having run 1762 miles. Total loss of pressure throughout the run - Nil. |
| R.3. 85671 | O.S.F. | Worn down to the cord and removed after 2932 miles. Total loss of air pressure throughout the run - Nil. |
| R.4. 85435 | N.S.F. | Worn down to cord, and removed after 2932 miles. Pressure loss throughout the run - Nil. |

We do not consider that these tyres in any way merit the title of Super Comfort Tyres. In this respect they are inferior to the standard Dunlops.

During the short time that they were on the car, there was a noticeable increase in body rattles.

The rear tyres were run to the last layer of cord, and the front as far as possible consistent with safety.
