Dear Wilks,

Thank you for your letter of the 21st. April about your nephew. I have passed this on to Mr. Ward, who is at present running the Apprenticeship Scheme under somewhat difficult war-time conditions and have asked him to communicate with you direct and fit your nephew in if it is at all possible.
