re 10" Long C.F. Clutch Bentley.
Dear Sirs,
In confirmation of our 'phone conversation of this afternoon, will you please send us another 10" Long C.F. clutch, for experimental work, to specification BB.460 as before.
This specification is correct except that it should read 'Bentley', 3½ x 4½.
We may mention that we have not so far observed any disadvantage resulting from the comparatively rough finish of the face of the pressure plate, in fact, engagement is very smooth, but we are wondering whether or not more wear of the facing may result?
We are arranging for our Official Order to follow.
Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
