10-EX CAR. 48774 74663

(a) PETROL GAUGE.
To be fitted in the same position in the tank as that on 12-EX. Complete unit for fitting is in the Stores. Drg. for fitting F.79177.

(b) SHOCK ABSORBERS TRANSVERSALLY.
We require front shock absorbers to be fitted up transversally as described. The present shock absorbers can be left on for this test so that it will be possible rapidly to change over from one to the other.

(c) FRONT SPRINGS.
These should be cadmium plated.

(d) REAR SPRINGS.
We should like the stiffer type cadmium plated springs with the extended main leaf off 12-EX fitted, which otherwise would be scrap (F.79100) to have the spring stop put in the standard positions and to be fitted to 10-EX. The main leaf of these springs will require spot facing to get the stop in the standard position. We think this is the best way to utilise these springs as the main leaf can never be made into a standard leaf exactly.

(f) RELAY.
We should like the relay and controls on this car to be made standard.
