BENTLEY CHASSIS - STANDARDISATION SHEETS.

Kindly note the following standardisation sheets were completed during December 1936 and January 1937 :-

Title. Series where brought in. Chassis to test.

Air Silencer in 28 SWG. planish steel, instead of 20 SWG. aluminium. 'L' 1.7.37.

Lightened petrol tank and stone guard. 'L' 1.7.37.

Improved axle control. 'K' 1.3.37.

All British Delco-Remy Distributor. 'K' 1.3.37.

Modified H.T. rotor on distributor to RR.Sch.922. When available.

Main & Big end bearing shims in RR. 56 solid metal. When available.

Front drums with increased rib height. 'K' 1.3.37.

Scraper ring E.60821. When available.

Deturbulated cylinder head. 'L' 1.7.37.

Strengthened exhaust valve KE.965. 'L' 1.7.37.

Aerolite piston - in accordance with EB.2844. 'L' 1.7.37.

Rear side steering tube joint. 'L' 1.7.37.
