The testing of a larger crankshaft for a 20 HP engine, which resulted in worn bearings.

We found, that the only engine in which we have been running the larger Crankshaft, the intermediate bearings have worn badly and in some cases the whitemetal has cracked and broken away. The engine had run approximately 7,000 miles including the run to Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence.
