c. EFC. X8650 BY/RD12/W.17.10.24. E.A.C.II. AUTOMATIC SWITCH. X.8650. -------------------- Referring to EFC3/T15.10.24, we note the size of wire used for winding the coil of the main switch has been increased from 26 to 24 S.W.G. With reference to increasing the height of the poles, we should be pleased if you would let us know exactly how much packing you put in, and as the spring on the main switch now appears to be about right would you kindly let us know how much thinner it is than what we instructed; also the poundage. With reference to the flexible connector D.70651 which is found to be too rigid, we suggest that you obtain from the Plating Department some brass plating foil which is .004 thick, and use two thicknesses as .008 x .625 provides sufficient area to carry the current. We note that the stop on the armature has been reduced from the drawing size of .050, would you kindly let us know what the reduction was, and also is a similar reduction necessary on the auxiliary switch armature, so that we can correct our drawings for production.
