The side strips consist of 176 pieces, and it does not seem possible to delete any of these components; there does not appear to be any reason, however, why the Remax fastener bracket should not be spot welded to the side strip. By the use of a thicker Ferodo the packing plate could be deleted. The side strip leaves a hole at the bottom of the dash, and road dirt thrown up by the front wheels will enter at this point. ----- Comparative Bonnet Weights. 1.B.50. lbs. ozs.
