10-EX AND EAC-7 CARS. 48774

We are sending 10-EX car so that you will have an opportunity to see the modifications which have been made to the bodywork.

We received this car from the coachbuilders 10 days ago and with the holiday intervening there are still a number of modifications to be carried out, including changing the engine for one with alum. cyl. and head. We should therefore be glad if you could arrange for Dodd to bring this car back to Derby.

We consider that the performance of 10-EX car at high speeds has been materially improved by the alterations to the body. It holds the road better and has a higher maximum speed. We believe that when it is completed it should (on Brooklands) approach 100 m.p.h.

We hope to bring EAC-7 to WW. shortly. At present we are busy changing the crankcase and clutch housing to accommodate the latest starter motor.
