Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ROY{Sir Henry Royce}16/MG28.8.33 ---------------- Gallay Ltd write as copy attached: re: Rolls-Bentley Radiator "We shall be pleased to quote extremely low prices for high grade hand finished radiators of the type previously supplied to Messrs. Bentley, Lagonda, Talbot, etc., etc. "We recommend the automatically controlled thermostat in connection with shutters if you propose using same and will quote alternatively for stoneguards, such as we supply to Messrs. Talbot, Hillman, Chrysler and other important manufacturers. "We also desire to advise you that we are now equipped with a special Chausson type of tool for manufacturing the Chausson patent radiator block. It is one of the very few approved by the laboratory used by Messrs. Ford. "This form of tube block is far the best type for export as it gives an absolutely free passage to the water and resists corrosion. For example it was found in North Africa that the only water available had an errosive effect to such an extent that an ordinary film type of raidator could not be guaranteed for more than one year. The Chausson patent type is practically indestructible." Would you care to see samples and have particulars? ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
