To BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} c. Wer/Mr. Brock. Y4333 EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 5/T4.7.24. X.4333 - BURSTING TEST OF MOULDED COMMUTATOR. X3513 Reference your BY19/H13.6.24 (copy attached) we have carried out the tests therein requested and attach copy of my assistant's report WA. {Mr Wallis} 57, containing the results. On comparison of this report with previous reports refs. EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 1/T13.7.22 and EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 1/T3.7.22, you will agree that there is no reason to suppose that the strength of this particular moulded commutator is any better than those previously tested, one of which withstood all tests carried out upon it.
