X6040 Sft.{Mr Swift} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY/GS Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} BY10/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 27.5.25. "V" SERIES PISTONS. (E.73376.) -------------------- We know of no modification to the piston which can possibly be brought in for the last 100 chassis in "V" Series. In view of this, therefore, will you kindly arrange to go ahead with the remaining 100 in "V" Series. If Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} knows any points in regard to pistons with which I am not acquainted, will he kindly let me know. In the meantime, the Works should go ahead and make castings. It will be advisable, however, not to get unnecessarily far ahead on the piston job, in case some new point is discovered which would have to be incorporated. At present we know of nothing. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} By | ||
