To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from My/Rb.{R. Bowen} +7390 MY/Rb.{R. Bowen}25/139A/BJ.29.10.26. Re: Standardisation Sheet X.No.7390/7380 New Front Wing Stay. For reply to BJ6/E.28.10.26, returned herewith with standardisation sheet; the information given by the Cost Department on the above standardisation sheet is not that the cost of the Front Wing Stay is negligible, but that the difference in cost between the Front Wing Stays and the parts that they supersede, is negligible. The estimated factory cost of the Wing Stays and all other new parts which will be required when Front Wing Stays are fitted is £2-3-6 per set. The estimated factory cost of the parts which will be superseded when Front Wing Stays are fitted is £2-3-3 per set. Our figures are based on lists supplied by the Drawing Office, showing the new parts which are required and the parts which are superseded. MY/Rb.{R. Bowen} Rl. | ||
