Nº 2. ----- Austria. With reference to Austria, the adverse conditions resulting from the war in the Balkan States has naturally paralysed business in general, and although the success which we secured in the Alpenfahrt Trials did not produce the expected result on account of the political situation in that country, it has certainly given an impetus to the trade on the Continent. Russia. Our Director for Russia - Mr Alexejeff, was unfortunately taken ill in consequence of which he was prevented from attending to business for several months, however, he has now practically recovered, and intends next month to visit Russia, when he hopes to be able to do some useful business. Yours truly, | ||
