To HPT. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}7/JH.30.9.38. 600. Wraith car 25.G.VI. We wish to send the above car into the fitting shop for the following work to be done. (1) Fit damper to brake mechanism as per Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}3/R.12.9.38. (2) Fit 12 S.W.G. mild steel exhaust downtake pipe as per Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}3/JH.16.8.38. This pipe does not require any lagging. (3) Make up and fit a new centre expansion box, similar in construction to the one already fitted, but using the following materials Sheet and both end covers in staybright. Centre baffle in staybright. Three internal pipes in heat resisting perforated metal to be supplied by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G.
