X973 HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} e.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} MS. BY5/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 10.6.25. TYRE PUMPS. The Dunlop Company have written us that they are discontinuing the manufacture of the De Luxe Foot Pump which we have been using up to the moment on our cars. They have sent us their new model which they propose to replace the old one by.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} We are handing you the pump herewith, and would like you to test same as early as possible and compare it for storing same in our tool box as against the old type. It looks to me to be somewhat more bulky, but the pump in question may be more satisfactory. We have very few pumps on hand at the moment, and it is important that we should have a report quickly, as otherwise we shall have to ask the Dunlop Company to produce more of the old type or find some other source of supply.
